The Family
Medicine Residency of Idaho has been serving the citizens of Idaho
and the surrounding Intermountain West since 1974. In that time
period, they've had over 221 graduates, 54% of whom are serving
the State of Idaho and 51% of those are in the rural,
under-served parts of Idaho.

University Family Medicine Residency Program
The ISU Family Medicine
Residency’s mission is to train physicians for successful rural
family practice. The three-year program is a community based,
University-affiliated program* designed to produce skilled, caring
family practice physicians.
Kasiska College of Health Professions
The Kasiska College of Health
Professions at Idaho State University was the first college in Idaho
dedicated to the education of health professionals and remains the
state's lead institution for health programs such as Physician
Assistant and Nurse Practitioner, medical and dental residency
programs and many more.
Boise State University College of Health Sciences
The College of Health Sciences (CHS)
provides health care professionals with an education that emphasizes
state of the art practice, fosters critical thinking, develops
health advocacy, and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration.
Faculty and students enhance the pool of resources available to the
