Health West is a federally funded healthcare facility serving Southeastern Idaho. Health West, Inc. was founded in 1975 to provide health coverage in rural Southeastern Idaho. Health West is dedicated to fulfilling the medical needs of the communities where a Health West clinic is located. We have clinics in Aberdeen, American Falls, Downey, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, and Pocatello, Idaho.
Recently, Health West was awarded an expansion grant to increase mental health and substance abuse services and they are seeking a Master's level behavioral health provider to provide care in the Aberdeen and American Falls clinics. This is a great opportunity to develop and create a strong behavioral health service for the entire community with a focus on many seasonal farmworkers and families.
Position Specifics
- Start Date: October 1, 2009
- Fulltime (40 hours/week)
- Clinic hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Possible evening/weekend hours
- Desired personality traits: integrity, flexibility, team player, positive energy, strong work ethic
- Patient population is 60% Latino, many monolingual
- Prefer 2 years experienced, but accepting applications from new graduates
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
