Family Medicine Residency of Idaho
The Family Medicine Residency of Idaho has been serving the citizens of Idaho and the surrounding Intermountain West since 1974. In that time period, they've had over 221 graduates, 54% of whom are serving the State of Idaho and 51% of those are in the rural, under-served parts of Idaho.
Idaho State University Family Medicine Residency Program
The ISU Family Medicine Residency’s mission is to train physicians for successful rural family practice. The three-year program is a community based, University-affiliated program* designed to produce skilled, caring family practice physicians.
Idaho State University Advanced General Dentistry Program
This one-year residency, with sites in Boise and Pocatello, focuses on providing comprehensive care in a variety of clinical settings, emphasizing rural, underserved, and at risk populations.
Kasiska College of Health Professions
The Kasiska College of Health Professions at Idaho State University was the first college in Idaho dedicated to the education of health professionals and remains the state's lead institution for health programs such as Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner, medical and dental residency programs and many more.
University of Washington - WWAMI Program
The tuition paid by students in Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho is the same as that paid by Washington state residents. This allows for publicly supported medical education in states where no freestanding medical school exists. Idaho currently supports 20 seats in this program. Click here for brochure.
University of Idaho - WWAMI
The Idaho WWAMI Program provides medical education and training to students, residents, and practicing physicians throughout the vast state of Idaho. Eighteen Idaho WWAMI students complete their first year of medical training at the University of Idaho's Moscow campus.
University of Utah School of Medicine
The University of Utah Medical Education Program provides eight Idaho students each year with the opportunity to attend the University of Utah School of Medicine with financial support from the state of Idaho.
Boise State University College of Health Sciences
The College of Health Sciences (CHS) provides health care professionals with an education that emphasizes state of the art practice, fosters critical thinking, develops health advocacy, and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration. Programs include: Community and Environmental Health, Master of Health Sciences, Nursing, Paramedic Program, Radiologic Sciences, Respiratory Therapy.
